on Aamir Khan’s 53rd birthday, we revisit the box-office figures of the
superstar’s movies that have made a smashing entry in the 100 crore club in the
last decade.
By
2012, Rs 100 crore had become a new benchmark for a film to be
declared a hit, and those affiliated with the 100 crore club were
considered to be a part of the elite strata in the Bollywood.
And a lot of
Aamir Khan's films were members of this new-found honourable club.

Ghajini, released
in 2008, was the 1st movie
to net Rs 100 crore at the box-office, followed by 3 Idiots (2009) with Rs 200
crore, Dhoom 3 (2013) with Rs 300 crore, PK (2014) with Rs 500 crore. Dangal
(2016) broadened Aamir Khan’s box-office power to Rs 700 crore and finally
Secret Superstar with Rs 400 crore in 2017.

aside Rs 100 crore club, interestingly; Aamir Khan is the first Bollywood actor
to register his name in the 1000 crore club as well as Dangal crossed Rs 1000
crore mark including its collections from China and other overseas market.

eagerly awaits his next venture, Thugs Of Hindostan, in which he will create
magic with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time, along with Katrina Kaif and
Fatima Sana Shaikh. The film is slated to hit theatres this Christmas.
